Second Life Fashion from ReadMeri | 10,000 reasons SL clubs are better

10,000 reasons SL Clubs are better than RL ones, of which I will name but a thousandth…

  1. You have to queue to get into a RL club to be inspected by a large square man with no sense of humour or neck (of which he is aware).
  2. You don’t have to pay to get into an SL club.
  3. You can drink tea, or eat pizza in an SL club and nobody thinks you’re weird – well, not for that reason anyway.
  4. Men tend to dance in SL clubs but often not in RL ones.
  5. You can adjust the volume to your own personally preferred level in an SL club.
  6. In Winter, you do not have to check a coat into a cloakroom in an SL club.
  7. Your bag/phone does not get stolen or misplaced in an SL club.
  8. You can mute people who annoy you in an SL club, rendering them… well, derendering them actually 😀
  9. Your feet never hurt you in an SL club.
  10. You can have an actual conversation in an SL club, both publically and privately

Vinyl’s Troy Skirt and Maya Leg Sleeves are a coupling made in heaven (pretty sure that’s where the creator lives). The textures – OMG – so nice, and such a wide range in the fatpack.  The fit is awesome! If you get the fatpack, you’ll find that you can choose from plain colours for each part (belt, skirt, pockets, fringing) and textures too… You simply can’t tell by looking at the HUD what little prizes it has in store – the varying textures are indicated simply with a colour – which is underselling itself rather, but a quick flick through will be enough to ensure you are impressed.

I decided to add undersocks to the leg sleeves and chose those lovely ones by Atomic. I love Atomic’s socks but last time I checked the mainstore, no socks. I’m hoping they are out and for sale now, I’ve sent a begging note 🙂

Collabor88 this round offered designers a chance to work together on a collaboration and Vinyl are working with Just Because who made the Clementine Top. Oh it’s so darn pretty, the details of the mesh and the options for tweaking in the HUD make this a surefire winner.

This hair made me think of Demi Moore’s hair in that iconic movie Ghost. KoKoLoReS make some really gorgeous and individual hairstyles and this is one of my faves. I pouted happily around all day in it and am still wearing it now (a sure compliment from a blogger who changes styles as often as her undies – in fact, more often).

Here’s some more pictures including a ‘well lit, no shit’ shot…

And finally, a real treat in the form of Meri thinking about dancing to Limmy’s Turkish Delight Song 😀
